The Port of Funchal is Madeira Island's principal Port dedicated exclusively to tourist/cruise vessels and recreational sailing.

Located in the center of  Madeira Island's capital, Funchal, with direct highway access to the airport (20km)

Documentation - All vessels calling at Funchal must be officially entered with all Port Authorities. Please contact us for the necessary instructions to follow  in accordance to all IMO and Marpol guidelines.

Pilotage: Compulsory for all vessels.

Tugs: 3 available each with 3.300 hp

Maximum draught: 11.00m

Accommodation - The facilities of the Port of Funchal include four quays for handling passenger, ferries, sailing ships and  yachts, research and navy ships exclusively. No Limitation in open Roadstead, anchorage in about 27.5m. The Port of Caniçal is available only for cargo and container vessels.
